An Albanian man has been hospitalised after he lost control of his motorcycle early on Monday morning.

In a statement, police said that at around 7am the Albanian, who is 32-years-old, lost control of his Niu N1S motorcycle in Triq il-Mitjar in Luqa.

The man was given first aid on site and taken to Mater Dei Hospital, where he was certified as suffering from grievous injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
