Abela trusted by 22% more of the population to lead the country than Grech - survey

PL Leader Robert Abela has a 22.2% advantage over PN Leader Bernard Grech in terms of who people think is the best person to lead the country, the results of a survey released by statistician Vince Marmara reads.

The survey was carried out between 17 and 21 February. Marmara said 750 people were interviewed, and the survey has a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of +/-3.6%. Today's announcement is based on the same survey on which Marmara yesterday issued results that showed that the PL has a trust rating of 55.7%, while the PN enjoys a trust rating of 42.7%.

"When the public were asked about who is the best leader to lead the country, Abela is trusted by 52.9% of the electorate, while Grech has the support of 30.7%. The leaders of other parties have the support of 2.6% of the electorate." 8.4% of the electorate do not trust any leader and 5.4% responded 'don't know'.
