An elderly man was taken to hospital with grievous injuries after he was hit by a car in Fgura, the police said.
The accident happened in Triq is-Sur at 7.15pm on Wednesday.
The police said that the 82-year-old was hit by a Jeep Renegade driven by a 28-year-old man, also of Fgura.
