There has been a major diesel spill in Marsa after a fuel truck overturned in what appears to be a traffic accident.

Footage of the liquid spewing into and down the road was shared to Facebook by a commuter warning of the danger.

This happened at around 3:30pm in Triq il-Moll in Marsa.

Members of the Civil Protection Department were on site laying down large amounts of sand in an effort to remove the danger that the fluid will pose to motorists.
