A cyclist was grievously injured on Wednesday evening after a crash with a vehicle, the police said.

The accident took place in Kottoner Avenue, Fgura, at 11pm.

The cyclist, aged 41 of Paola, was involved in a collision with a Toyota driven by a 40-year-old man of Hamrun.

The cyclist was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
