He said that these often include a meal with their families, clothes, and electronic devices.

Each year, professionals within the FSWS bring to public attention the wishes of vulnerable children who live in alternative care or live with their respective families.

Last year, 2,331 gifts were collected.

It was said that with the public’s help, Maltese and Gozitan’s kindness has clearly been shown through this campaign, even during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Working with these families is a continuous job throughout the year, and not only during Christmas, as children deserve the best care to ensure that no one falls behind. This year, we have implemented several projects to precisely ensure this, including Children's House and Opportunity Knocks,” Falzon said.

FSWS CEO Alfred Grixti and FSWS Director Remenda Grech encouraged the public to make these children’s wishes come true by visiting the site www.childrendreams.org
