A traffic accident occurred in Għaxaq on Wednesday at 5.30pm, the police said.
The accident occurred on f'Dawret Ħal Għaxaq. A Keeway City Blade motorbike ridden by a 32-year-old Indian who resides in Għaxaq and a Peugeot 206 driven by a 39-year-old Birżebbuġa resident collided. A medical team went on side and the motorbike rider was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for care. He suffered grievous injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
