Sunday, 28 April 2024, 08:25 Last update: about 15 days ago

Our school, Theresa Nuzzo Marsa/Hamrun has participated in an Erasmus+ project entitled Saving Our Planet and during the week 9-14 April our partners from Spain, Greece and Turkey visited our school. In the project the main aim was to transmit the core values.

Throughout this week, teachers, together with students, prepared lessons and projects related to the topic Sustainable Green Environmental Education, keeping in mind the core values.

During this mobility, discussions were held and consensus was reached on ecological destinations to visit in each country. In Malta we visited Xrobb l-Ghagin, a site which is run by Nature Trust, and which has specific characteristics which produce a distinctive kind and amount of vegetation. It is even a Wildlife Rehab Centre.

The students' engagement and active participation in the project left a strong impression on our partners.
