A biker is in hospital following a crash with a car on Thursday morning.

The traffic accident occurred in Triq Ħal Farruġ, Luqa. Authorities were informed about the collision at 11.20am.

The motorcyclist is a 53-year-old man from Zabbar and he was riding a Yamaha at the time of the accident.  Police said that he was certified as suffering from grievous injuries.

The driver of the car involved in this collision - a 39-year-old man from Luqa in a Toyota FunCargo - was unharmed.
