Four people were safely rescued after a boat capsized in the vicinity of St Paul's Islands on Saturday, the Civil Protection Department said.
CPD rescuers from Station 5 responded to reports of the capsized boat and launched a coordinated operation with the Armed Forces of Malta.
All four people on board were located and brought safely aboard the CPD RHIB Delta 2 before being transported to shore.
One of the four people was taken to hospital for further medical assessment, while the other three were assessed by medical personnel at the scene and discharged.
The CPD thanked the Armed Forces of Malta, the Malta Police Force and the Mater Dei Hospital Emergency Department for their assistance and coordination during the rescue operation.
