Ramona Vassallo, 32 from St Paul’s Bay, admitted stealing a bag from Sayaka Mizuno last Thursday at around 4.15pm. She returned the goods she stole and cooperated with the police investigation.
Presiding magistrate Lawrence Quintano gave the woman a conditional discharge for a year.
Inspector Stephen Gatt prosecuted while Dr Shazoo Ghaznavi appeared for the accused.
