The Chevrolet range has recently seen a new addition – the all-new Chevy Matiz. The car was launched during this year’s Motor Fair at the Trade Fair grounds in Naxxar.

With its modern, fresh design, clever use of space, favourable price and optimised engineering, the Matiz certainly has what it takes to become an all-time favourite. The signs certainly point to continued success, and this is underlined by the first market surveys among car drivers. At so-called “car clinics” in Germany, Italy and Poland, drivers spoke very positively of the Chevrolet Matiz after an initial meeting with the new model. In particular, the drivers praised the “cool styling and compact dimensions”, as well as design details such as the engine bonnet with its large headlamps, the striking tail lights and the easily visible gauges positioned at the centre of the dashboard.

The new Matiz is more economical, offering even better fuel efficiency than its predecessor. Safety has been enhanced to meet the stringent Euro NCAP standards. While the Matiz’s performance has been upgraded, it will also be more environmentally friendly, complying with EURO IV emission standards.

Since the launch of the first Matiz generation in 1998, the Matiz has been a real success in Europe and a leader in the global mini car segment, with about 1.3 million Matiz having been sold worldwide.

The new Chevy Matiz can be seen at the Mira Motors showroom on Mriehel Bypass. The showroom will remain open till 7pm today, and until 4pm tomorrow.
