The St Joseph Club and De Rohan Band, together with the Archpriest and clergy of Zebbug, Malta, will present a musical evening in the parish church on Friday. Mro Ronnie Debattista will conduct the band. The concert starts at 8pm.

The celebration is being presented to commemorate the 50th anniversary since the foundation of a special day dedicated to St. Joseph the Worker.

President Edward Fenech Adami will attend.

Musical scores celebrating St Joseph will be performed by the De Rohan Band, with the participation of tenor Joseph Aquilina, baritone Joe Huber and the choir Marie Therese Voice Studio.

The programme will also include an Ghanja lil San Guzepp, (A folk-song to St Joseph) sung by the well-known folk-singer Frans Baldacchino il-Budaj, a talk by Fr Charles Cordina, and a special feature speech by Joe Flask.

The soirée will be compered by Gorg Peresso.
