The Malta Dance & Dance Sport Council held the 12th Malta Closed Competitions at the SAS Radisson Ballroom.

The event was an overwhelming success with a super venue, an excellent meal and many exciting competitions, which all contributed to an event to remember. The competitors and diners all thoroughly enjoyed the event which were held for the first time with a gala dinner. While waiting for the results the audience, competitors, teachers and foreign adjudicators all joined in the general dancing creating a fantastic friendly atmosphere.

The hard-working committee of the MDDSC are already hard at work for the next event which will be held at the beginning of November. The event will host foreign couples together with the Maltese dancers.

It is in the interest of the future dancer to ensure that their teacher is qualified and registered with the Malta Dance & DanceSport Association, the governing body in Malta for teachers of Ballroom & Latin American dance.
