Alpine Holdings Announce new appointments

Alpine Holdings Limited, has announced the appointment of Kim Wright as CEO (Designate) managing the group’s business interests in Malta’s tourism sector.

Tony Zahra, group chairman and current CEO, announcing a new corporate structure, stated that the continued expansion of the groups’ reach into various market sectors required a concentrated and consistent direction that this new corporate structure is designed to deliver.

“Kim’s brief, and that of his colleagues, is to increase our status as market leaders in all areas where we are present. He is expected to deliver this by giving more value to our customers, motivating and training further our employees and delivering good results to the shareholders,” added Mr Zahra.

Mr Wright joins Alpine Holdings Ltd. from general manager of one of its subsidiary businesses, Comtec Service Limited.

Anthony Padovani, has been appointed general manager of Comtec Service Ltd in March of this year taking over from Mr Wright. Mr Padovani was previously the general manager of the Malta Institute of Management and has also held senior management positions with Vodafone, Computime and H.H. Ltd.

Mr Zahra said, “I am pleased to welcome Anthony to our organisation and believe that we have selected a candidate that can continue Comtec’s development and expand the business of pest control and hygiene in Malta and Gozo.”

Comtec was established in Malta in 1967 and is considered to be the pioneer in pest control in Malta.
