Tonight, at precisely two minutes and three seconds past the hour of one o’clock in the morning, 4 May 2006, digital clocks and calendars will give a combined reading of 01-02-03-04-05-06.

This is a unique reading which will not occur again before another 100 years.

The Philatelic Bureau of Maltapost is commemorating this singular event by issuing a special Commemorative Cover.

The uniqueness of this Cover is expected to generate a heavy demand by philatelists and collectors, both locally and internationally.

The cover, depicting this unique figure and including a 20c stamp from the 2000 “Greetings” issue, is only being made available on order through the Philatelic Bureau in the following formats: handstamped in black ink at a cost of 75c, in silver ink at Lm1, and in gold ink at Lm1.50.
