A 22-year-old man yesterday pleaded guilty to trafficking around 100 ecstasy pills and the possession of the pills with the intent to sell between April and May 2004.
The man from Zejtun, pleaded guilty to possession of trafficking ecstasy pills. Magistrate Lawrence Quintano upheld the defence lawyers’ request for a ban on the publication of the man’s name since he has helped the police in their investigations.
The case was put off for judgement to October.
Police Inspector Norbert Ciappara prosecuted while lawyers Jason Azzopardi and Kris Busietta appeared for the accused.
