Global Petroleum Ltd said it and its joint venture partner, RWE Dea AG with 20 per cent, have just completed the acquisition of 852 km of 2D seismic for an area offshore Malta.
The Malta government has agreed to a three-month extension to 31 March of the Exploration Study Agreement covering Blocks 4 & 5 of Area 3, Offshore Malta.
The agreement with RWE Dea AG has also been extended to 31 March 2007.
