A woman was yesterday charged with falsely accusing another person of committing a crime knowing that the other person was innocent.
The police said that Dorianne Sciberras, 24, of Pieta’, and resident in Victoria, was charged before Magistrate Anthony Ellul of falsely accusing a third person of committing a crime.
Sciberras filed a report at the Victoria police station at 1.25am on 18 March.
She pleaded not guilty. The case continues on 2 April.
