New President for ‘Ghaqda Letterarja Maltija’

The biennial meeting of the L-Ghaqda Letterarja Maltija was held on Wednesday, when Louis Briffa was elected president for 2007-08.
Mr Briffa called on those present to urge people interested in the strength and vitality of the organisation to join it. The newly-elected president concluded his appeal with the assurance that he would inaugurate the first official meeting of the Ghaqda Letterarja Maltija with a literary activity.
