The week that changed the face of Malta

So much has happened in the past seven days. It was exactly one week ago that news filtered about the arrested of Yorgen Fenech as part of investigations in connection with the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia. Since then it has been a roller-coaster of events, leading to further arrests and the political repercussions, culminating in the resignation of Minister Konrad Mizzi, the auto-suspension of Minister Chris Cardona and the resignation of the chief of staff at the OPM Keith Schembri.

This is a timeline of the main events that took place since Saturday. The events between Wednesday 20 November and Friday 22 November may be found in video below.

 

Saturday 23rd

Yorgen Fenech taken to hospital because of chest pains
